Church Office Administrative Assistant
Central United Methodist Church in Albemarle, NC is seeking a Part-time administrative assistant. 24 hour per week, (Monday-Thursday; Friday hours: Flexible) with no weekend hours required.
Start Date: Monday, April 14, 2025
Hourly compensation is between $17.00 and $25.00 per hour, negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
Position involves interaction with congregation members and the public. Candidate must be proficient with Microsoft software to generate weekly bulletins, process emails, create and distribute monthly newsletter, order supplies, prepare office correspondences and maintain filing systems.
Candidate will manage phone system, calls, voicemail messages as well as maintain church calendar among other duties.
Requirements: Reliable transportation with valid NC driver’s license; Background Check (for Safe Sanctuary requirements) and Drug Screening.
